MEET THE BAND

Mr. Henry -

Hi , I'm Enrico (Mr. Henry) from Italy, I' m an italian singer/songwriter and I'm writing you because I'm organizing a mini tour through the East Coast and the Midwest ( in the first half of September ) and I'm lookin for gigs ( not only as the only attraction of the night, I'd love to play with local bands! ) so I wonder if you could help me. I recorded two albums, the fisrt one was very slow and dark, while the second one is more "Rock'n'roll" but both got entusiastic reviews by italian magaines and webzines, my music is a mix of folk ( Nick Drake, John Martyn, Tim Buckley ), dirty blues ( Tom Waits, Nick Cave, Mark Lanegan, Captain Beefheart ), desert rock and experimental electronics, and my voice is "deep and smokey". When I recorded the albums I used to have a band, but now I go on stage alone with my guitar, a few effects and a Loop Station, so I don't need a real band... I can be very loud and noisy , but also delicate and intimate and my shows are a psychedelic mix of beats and melody played with a blues attituide ... these should be the dates of the tour: 9/1 - NYC 9/2 - Portsmouth 9/3 - Boston 9/5 - Cincinnati 9/6 - Chicago 9/8 - Lexinghton 9/9 - Nashville 9/10 - Knoxville Cincinnati and Chicago are sure dates, while the others can be changed, and new ones can be added as well... you can listen to my songs here: http://www.myspace.com/thelastmrhenry on that page there are 7 songs, ( 4 Mp3s and 3 videos, the first of wich is from my last performance last week, while the other 2 are videoclips ) and a bio, if you like my music or think that you can help me in finding a date, or need more infos, please write me back!
