Barry Schwartz - lead guitar, vox.
Billy Southern is originally from Duluth, moved around the country and the world in the 90's, and is now back writing songs and performing around the Twin Ports and beyond. Barry Schwartz accompanies Billy on many shows, and along with Karl Anderson, Ashley Northey, and Charlie Parr* (*on one song), they recently released "Swamp Dog" on an independant label. The music style varies from country folk, to bluesy folk. All acoustic, with some electric bass, harmonica and even a little banjo.
At a show you can expect to see Billy either solo or with Barry. Billy tends to tell a story or two during the show at the coffee shops, but can be very driving at the bars. |
