Good Colonels started in May of 2008 as a two piece with Codie Leseman on guitar and vocals and with Curtis Mattson on drums. As a two piece they started playing shows first at Kurtfest 2008 then playing multiple shows at Thirsty Pagan Brewing the first of which was played with the Tisdales as Rich Mattson is Curtis Mattsons' Uncle. In early January the band recorded at Rich Mattsons' Sparta Sound and made a six song EP that is available for $5.
