The Greater Downtown Council is so pleased to again offer free outdoor movies every Friday night.  
Located on the shores of Lake Superior and shown on a giant 20’ X 40’ big screen placed between
the two turrets at Leif Erikson Park, thousands of people have made this family
friendly event the Friday night activity of choice.  

 This summer come on out and enjoy!

The Greater Downtown Council is dedicated to the development and promotion
of a strong, healthy and exciting Downtown Duluth Waterfront.

All movies are absolutely FREE to attend!

Event Guidelines
-Event security & staff hold the right to deny admittance.
-Leif Erikson Park is reserved exclusively for MITP use on designated Fridays.
-MITP is open to the public and admittance is FREE.
-Participants must be ages 16 or older or accompanied by an adult at all times.
-Satellite bathrooms are on-site for convenience
-Leashed dogs are welcome; you must clean up after your pet.
-Parking is limited, please consider walking.
-Bring blankets or folding chairs for comfort.
-Alcoholic beverages are not allowed, coolers/bags will be checked at the gate.
-MITP is a smoke-free event, except in the designated smoking area.
-Weather cancellations will be made at showtime.
-High winds and lightning, not rain, are causes for cancellations.
-Bring umbrellas and rain jackets for raining/misty nights.
