At nearly 10 years as a band, the group has become experts at genre-hopping. Their newest record "Shotgun" is a true testament to that. The album is full of rock and roll and whimsy. Like the scatter of shotgun, on their third and fully self-produced record, Sleeping Jesus spreads themselves across multiple genres, from steel guitar filled shitt-kickin' country, 70s reminiscent folk, and bouncy harmony filled indie rock.
