The Duluth Winter Village returns this year to a new location: outside along the lake at the Duluth Entertainment Convention Center's Harbor Drive!

The festive event runs both days the first weekend in December from 10am until 5pm and is free to attend.

The outdoor winter market takes place December 4 and 5, and is designed around small business, our scenic city and the holiday season. Born from the idea of making it fun, festive, and easy to support our local businesses during the holidays.

The Duluth Winter Village is a two-day festival where 40+ local small businesses sell their unique, curated goods out of custom built wooden cabins. In addition to shopping, visitors will enjoy food and beverages from local restaurants in a heated dining space, campfires by the lake, live animals, carolers, free skating inside at the DECC, and more.

The event runs 10am until 5pm Saturday and Sunday.

The Duluth Winter Village is unique from other area markets in that the vendors are all local businesses with retail locations around Northern Minnesota. Participants include Hucklebeary, Duluth Coffee Company, Frost River, Blue Heron Trading Company, Anna Bailey Art, and many more. Food and drink from New Scenic Cafe, Hungry Hippie, TBSP Waffles, Love Creamery, DECC and more.

New for 2021, visitors will appreciate free indoor ice skating both days from 3-5pm, with live musical performances on the ice; expanded indoor dining area at the Yule Lodge; a twenty- foot decorated tree; indoor heated family areas from Duluth Moms Blog with diaper changing areas and nursing spaces; and of course, Lift Bridge views.

Volunteers are needed to keep the Stoked Firewood firepits going, handing out maps to visitors and a couple other inside jobs! Every volunteer will get a Duluth Winter Village hat from Mellin Promotional Advertising or Duluth Screen Printing Co.!
