The Nordic Center is hosting a series of fiddle workshops from November through April on the third Sunday of each month. Instructor, Paul Dahlin will introduce the group to the folk music of Sweden — vals, schottis, polska and gånglåtar will all be explored. The major focus will be on rhythm and motion. It will be necessary for all to come with eyes and ears open to new sounds and motions. Although this is primarily focused on fiddle music, other instruments are welcome too — feel free to bring a recording device!

The workshop series will culminate with a celebration dance on Sunday, Apr. 27. The cost to register is $10 per session or $50 for all six sessions.
